Duniform® takes sustainability to a new level! Our new sealable HMR fiber trays are excellent for MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) applications, significantly increasing shelf life and providing for a fresher packaging. Made from renewable compostable sugarcane fiber and a thin plastic lamination, they contain 90% less plastic than regular plastic trays. An effective oxygen barrier, a crucial component in MAP applications, is made possible by a thin EVOH layer in the lamination. As a result, a wide variety of foods can now get longer shelf life, up to four times compared to conventional packaging methods, lowering the risk of needless food waste.
